Description
Accessible only via foot passenger ferry from Poole Quay between mid March – November, or the pre-bookable service from Sandbanks. Brownsea Island is nestled in the heart of Poole Harbour. Famous for its red squirrels, wildlife and scouting history, Brownsea Island is a fantastic day out.

Accessible ferry ‘The seahorse’ is available to book in advance, please contact National Trust Brownsea Island directly on 01202 707744. If travelling to Poole Quay by bike, there are cycle racks available on the Quay however it isn’t possible to bring your bikes on to the ferry or island.
